RENDEZVOUS IN BUSINESS NO LONGER OPERATING FROM JULY 2010
As you may be aware, we have been operating since 2006 and have always been a volunteer networking organisation. When we started our networking group we were answering a need in the market place for an innovative and community-based group, and we are very proud to have organised two Women in Business Expo during this time, and participated in the recent Think Business Expo alongside the BEC and Doltone House.
In more recent times however we have found it increasingly difficult to gain support from the business community as there has been a significant growth in networking organisations springing up. With the ongoing success of our committee’s personal businesses taking up more of our time, We regret to inform you that (after much discussion and heartache) we have had to make the decision to cease running Rendezvous in Business from July 2010.
It has been a difficult decision to close the networking group as many businesses have benefited and grown as a result of the groups’ ongoing support. Unfortunately, it has been a necessary one. We greatly appreciate your support and our committee and former Rendezvous in Business members will enjoy networking with you in the local area.
All the very best of future success with your business.

Held at the Summertime Bar in Cronulla Sharkies Club, it was a hugely successful evening where businesses came together and forgot the economic hard times and helped raise funds for a great organisation. It was also a great opportunity to mix with other like-minded business people and extend personal networks.
Celebrities that attended on the night included:
Glenn Wheeler (MC), Toni Pearen, Craig Stephens, Footy stars from the Cronulla Sharks and their Coach, Ricky Stuart, and Footy Legend Daryl Brohman.
We were entertained by the great live 8 piece Jazz Band “The Ritmo Arch”; with fun beach games including the electronic surf board ride, live crab racing, pass the ball competition and coin throw at the bottle games.
The night was a casual beach party atmosphere including a Gourmet BBQ Feast and as much wine/beer that could be consumed!
The entire Rendezvous team were there on the night and most of the Rendezvous team personally sponsored the event in some way. It was great to see so many of our Rendezvous members and friends in attendance, and we hope that you enjoy looking through the photos that we have put up for you.
